Sick Of Dams That Seep Empty? Built To Hold.

You know the story. A cheap quote, no proper clay core, a dam that drains every dry spell, and the bloke who dug it stops answering his phone. We read the land first and build it to hold.

Step 1 of 3
What We Do

We don't just dig a hole. We build dams that hold water long after we've left.

Twelve years on the Scenic Rim teaches you one thing. The land tells you where the water wants to sit, and most blokes never stop to listen. We walk your ground first, read the fall, test the soil, and find the clay before a single bucket comes out. A dam built against the land leaks. A dam built with it holds.

The dam that stays full

You picture it in the dry. Stock watering off it in February, the level holding steady while your neighbour's is cracked mud. That is the quiet thing every rural owner wants and rarely gets. A proper clay core, keyed in and rolled tight with the 6t roller, so the water has nowhere to go but where you put it.

Work that looks like it always belonged

A year on, the batters have grassed over and the edges have softened, and you'd swear the dam was always part of the place. That is the mark of it done right. Not a raw scar on your land, but water sitting like nature dropped it there. Bulk earthworks, site cuts, dams from a few meg up to the big ones. Built once, built to stay.

How We Work

We Work With Your Land, Not Against It

A careless operator digs where it's easy, skips the clay core, and walks off before the first dry spell exposes it. We do the opposite, in three steps.

STEP 01

We Read The Land

Before anything moves, we walk your property, read the natural fall and contours, and test the soil so we know exactly where the water wants to sit.

STEP 02

We Build It Right

Proper clay core, keyed in and rolled tight with the 6t roller. The right materials for your soil, not a shortcut. A 5ML dam at Kalbar last winter proves it.

STEP 03

It Looks Like It Belonged

In a year the batters grass over and the edges soften. It holds through the dry and looks like nature formed it there. No scar, no worry.

Common Questions

The Things Rural Owners Ask Us First

How do I know the dam will actually hold water?

It comes down to the clay core and the compaction. We test your soil first, key the core in properly, and roll it tight with the 6t roller. If your ground hasn't got the right clay, we tell you straight before you spend a cent, not after it seeps empty.

What if you dig it and it leaks anyway?

That happens when a bloke skips the core and walks off. We don't work that way. We read the land, build with the right materials, and stand by the work. Twelve years on the Scenic Rim and we're still here answering the phone, not disappearing.

Do you do the smaller suburban jobs?

We're set up for rural work. Dam building, bulk earthworks, and full site cuts on larger properties. If it's a tiny suburban job we're honestly not your best bet, and we'll say so rather than take your money and rush it.

How big a dam can you build?

We built a 5ML dam at Kalbar last winter and run a 20t excavator, 6t roller and tipper. We handle everything from a good stock dam up to the larger builds and full earthworks packages. Tell us what you need and we'll give you a straight answer.

About Us

G'day, I'm Mark

I've been building dams and moving dirt across the Scenic Rim for 12 years, out of Beaudesert, Boonah and Canungra. I've heard every horror story about cheap quotes that blow out and dams that seep empty while the bloke who dug them goes quiet. That's not how I run things.

I run a 20t excavator, a 6t roller and a tipper, and I do the work myself. I read the land before I touch it, build the clay core properly, and I'm still here after the job if you need me. A dam is a big spend on your property. It should hold.

If you want a straight quote and a dam built right the first time, give us a yell. I'll come out and have a proper look at your ground.
